This past summer Chef Keith ran a popular CSA box program. offering his favorite goods from farmers that would typically be supplying the taproom and events, while Coopers Hall was closed. The boxes contained 1 protein, 8 produce items, 2 cheeses, fresh milk and local butter that people could purchase through the Coopers Hall website and pick up on Saturdays. Each box also included a handout describing all of the contents, along with recipes and sometimes videos to help people make fresh, seasonal dishes.

In partnership with Lutheran Community Services NW we’re offering a special CSA pick up for Sunday, November 1st. The LCSNW Fall campaign drive is called the Communal Bowl and the funds raised will specifically go to helping refugees, immigrants and asylum seekers rebuild their lives in the Portland area.

Please join Lutheran Community Services Northwest as we create a Communal Bowl here in Portland.
During these unprecedented and uncertain times, remember how families all over the world cope...they come together and support each other at mealtime, around the Communal Bowl. At Lutheran Community Services Northwest, we set the table for refugee and immigrant families as we provide the emotional and practical support for them to rebuild their lives.
