Globally, we’ve been bound in a moment of great uncertainty. Locally, our industry and lives are being disrupted in ways we could never have foreseen.

Undoubtedly, this is a time for great change and innovation. We’ve always been up for challenges, but 2020 is like nothing we’ve seen before. A couple of months ago the ladies over at The Nightwood Society approached us with a new kind of idea - a truly collaborative, creative partnership forged with like minded businesses and shared core values:

  • Radical Hospitality

  • Locally Sourced Food + Farms

  • Collaboration + Co-Design

  • Community Culture

  • Sustainability >>> Profitability

Over many heartfelt conversations and creative and strategic brainstorms a Collaboratory Plan was born. Our Collaboratory plan focuses on merging the production parts of our businesses. We will be combining teams and leveraging resources like staff, systems and marketing so we can continue to offer best in class experiences at both Coopers Hall and The Nightwood. Both teams will collaborate and design the future of the businesses together. As a powerful duo we can do more of what our teams do best. Focus on food and exceptional experience and service.

Best of all, we now have incredible new partners that care about the community in the same ways we do. Putting people first, over profit. For both businesses that means prioritizing employing our people first,  supporting our community and guests second and working together to achieve profitability third.

We’re very proud to call the The Nightwood Society team our business partners, our community and our friends.
In the great words of Coretta Scott King, “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.”

We couldn’t agree more.
Onward.
